oooooooooooo You're my BEST friend

Isn't it marvellous, America was built on the slavery of blacks picking cotton - yet 'cotton wool' is alien to them? I'm guessing they have yet again mutilated the English language and call it something different.

Col

Still ribbing our noses in dirt Col?
I'm so sorry we can't live up to your high ideals... and I apologize for not having access to a time machine so that I can change our horrid past.

Now, let's get back to speaking about the virtues of some of the best people in our lives and why they mean so much to us. Which is a much more pleasurable conversation, wouldn't you agree?

what the heck is baby bunting!?

I'm really not sure... lol!
I heard it in a nursery rhyme and when I thought of someone being wrapped up in material that came to my mind.
Hell, it's probably something from England.
Don't worry. If Col has heard of baby bunting, I'm sure he'll be happy to enlighten we half-wits.

I like Tess and Oumahexi. They're both positive and make me smile.

I like Mrs. Wilkinson (my wife). She's in the other room cooking me a birthday cake (yay!). But I still like her when she's not cooking me a cake.

What a wonderfully kind thing to say, George!
What kind of cake is the Mrs. baking?
And will it last until Friday???

My favorite, carrot cake with cream cheese icing. She makes it from scratch. It is unlikely to last past Monday, if that long.

Alas, she's going to Orlando next weekend for a Tae Kwon Do tournament. My son and I are gonna do some hard video game playing for my bday. We haven't decided which game he's going to buy me yet.

YUMMMMMMY
One of my favorites too.

Nothing like homemade from scratch. I'm starting to want to bake now too.
(Knowing me, the mood will pass.... lol)

Just finished my second slice...yum yum.

Adam, FTR, we buy video games for me for my son. Does that make sense? Gifts to me are gifts to him. Isn't that the way it's supposed to work?

Speaking of which, my son is a really good friend (for the most part--have to keep some distance to keep the relationship all parenty and stuff). We've been video gaming buddies for 12+ years. When I was flying between Houston and Tampa every week, we used to play an online video game together so we could chat. Loads of fun. 'Cept I have to pwn him every now and then.

I have no idea George. Does it makes sense? I guess so! The only friend I have is my father, and I would NEVER play a video game with him. He would find that a bit degrading. He makes money, PERIOD. He enjoys it, but he also enjoys COMMON SENSE, and he's getting to the age where the world is getting very annoying to him. Especially with the nonsense increasing within the younger crowd. As a matter of fact, I'm starting to get annoyed with it, and I'm supposed to be IN it!

I do hope that other room is your kitchen :D
Is she making another for Friday? Tell me quick so I can book my flight - carrot cake, yummy. She's really put a lot of thought into this, making sure you get a cake AND you get one of your five a day at the same time! Well done Mrs W!!
Yes it's just a pity that she can't make him see sense over his politics;)

Would you believe that Pam and I are pretty much on polar opposite sides of the political fence? And yet... we love each other! I guess we focus on the things we share in common rather than the things upon which we disagree. And, we certainly don't push each other's hot buttons. We respect each other too much for that.

I've actually very recently met back up with many many old friends from high school and earlier. They've become a regular part of my social circle. My roommate is someone I've known over half my life...lol.

Where is this YES concert at? I may have to take a little trip to see you Tess, uh...I mean.... to see YES! :D

Hard Rock Live Orlando.
Dec 14, a Sunday 8pm.

Be there!
:)
