I am trying to open Access databases I have in my personal folder located on the server in my workplace (F: drive). When I try to do this, Access gives me a message saying the file is "located outside of my intranet or on an unsecure location" and will not allow me to open it. The files are most certainly located on the company network, so what is the problem?

What version of Access are you using? What method are you using to open the db's? Are you using VBA to open the db's? If so, post the code and we will take a look at it.

I am using Access 2002. I have tried opening the files through Access (file; open) and I have tried browsing the network and opening the files manually. Niether work. Thanks for the quick reply, I hope the information I provided can help solve the problem.
