Does anyone know if Acc2000 is compatible with any of the commercially available portable label printers?

We are planning to have the DB loaded on a tablet PC and then need to print the reports on-site.

Not really a development questions but hope someone can help!

I don't know why it wouldn't work with a label printer. You may have to custom design your labels if the label printer doesn't use one of the standard form sizes.

Thanks Pat! I haven't actually tried it yet. Just wanted to know that is was possible before going out to buy a thousand dollar printer!

Many label printers come with label design software that has:

[*] Ability to link into a database, sometimes ODBC, other times just .dbf files.
[*] Command-line functionality, so you can launch and control the label software from VBA.
[*]Proper Windows Printer drivers (so your labels would actually just be pages on a report)

These are the kind of features to ask about when shopping around.
