problems again

Can any body help me with this please .it will be a peace off P**S For most off you on this forum. But it is sending me mad. I have I table and 2 forms the first form searches for the name the second form brings up the data. The problem lies in when I type in Smith I want the most recent date to come up in the second form. But the same smith pops up no matter what I try. HELP
