How to Query from the table whose two fields are related to a single field of a table. Suppose An Employee is backing up an Employee. Backup_id, Backedup_Employee, Backingup_Employee.

Re: Lovers Hug with Two Hands

Perhaps if you posted subject titles that relate to the MS Access problem, you might get some responses.

I must agree with you Bob. However, I will admit that was drawn here out of curiosity, so I suspect that there will be some traffic. On an unrelated note, I still cannot figure out what the OP is looking to do.

Ok. Ok. No more poetic Titles. Thank you all. So May I expect replies this time forward.

I was drawn here also. Do you seek "who backed up whom and a count of occasions?"

I speak only for myself, and with all due respect, but I will have no idea of what I can do to assist you until I am able to get a better idea of what you need help with. Please try to explain the issue again in more detail.

Suggestion, in case anyone else is following this thread:
A table with Prabha's fieldnames and a Date field could produce two likely queries - one that determines the frequency of needing backup, and frequency of those seeking overtime.
