Relationship Import

Hi, just recovered from a corrupt database repair. All tables and data fine but all relationships gone. Split db this is the BE.

I have a backup but data is old, relationships are there.

Is there any way to copy or get the relationships into my recovered DB?

Fen,

First verify if the relations have gone.
Go to tools > relationships and hit the "Show all relationships" button on the menu.

Importing the relationships can only be achieved thru importing a query
with the Relationships checked in the Import objects. ( See attachement).

Hi, yes they are definitly gone. On your suggestion I do not want to import the data just the relationships? Will that work? If so how do I do this?

Well, sheesh. Make a backup DB, test the Import Relationships theory, and give it the old college try. Report back with what you find and pass on information instead of asking for it. That's what this forum is for in the first place.

go through the process of reimporting the data but ...

when you get the file, get external data, import, select dbs to import

at the bottom is options

options includes import relationships among other things

so just import the relationships, and not any of the other objects, and you should be OK
