I have a report that is based on a query. I just found out that I need to have an invoice number depending on how many times the report is accessed. Once the invoice is accessed again it needs to recognize the final number of the last printout and go from there.

Another problem is the program is designed that you do not need to enter a company name in the query and it will print out results for every company. I need it to have a different invoice number for each company page.

You've got a table design problem, not a report problem. The invoice number should not be a count of how many times a report has printed. Rather, its a sequential number that belongs on your invoice table. Sometimes, but not always, an Access autonumber field can be used for this.
What are your tables like?
