Report margins can't go < 0.25"

On some computers, I'm able to set the report margin to < 0.25 (i.e. 0.166), but on other's I'm not.

Anyone know what causes that? Is it an Access thing? or a Windows thing? How can I get to smaller margins?

I need to set the margins to 0.166" b/c the content of the report is wide.

I don't think it's a PC or Windows thing, I think it's a printer thing. Some printers can't handle margins that small.

Thanks pBaldy, but I know these printers can handle the smaller margins. In fact, they're the same that my application has been printing to for quite some time (2 ish years).

Odd thing is that in the past, I was able to change the margin size to the 0.166" on a couple computers at the office (I'm a contractor) . Now, those same computers are not doing it.

Can it be a user setting? There has been some attrition of staff at this office.

It's still probably a "printer" problem but actually more specifically a PRINTER DRIVER problem. Make sure all computers have the latest printer drivers for that printer. They might not all be on the same printer driver version.

i am sure you know, but when it went to 0.166
that wouldn't have been cms would it, rather than inches

(sorry - ignore that - thats just rubbish!)
