I am trying to make an Access Report. I need 1st page footer to display extra information. I can thru VBA disable this extra information on all pages except the 1st one. My problem that I need to resize the footer on other pages and this I cannot do. Any suggestions?
I went ahead and made these extra controls unvisible and collapsed all to control.top=0 for all pages except the 1. For some reason the footer looks OK but detail section roll over the footer on the 1 page and leave blank space on 2 page. Rest of the pages on the report looks OK. It seems like conflict of sequence in the event scheduling between Detail Section and Page Footer Section. I am doing page footer formatting in the PageFooterSection Format event handler. Should it be handled by other events?

Consider placing the extra information on the Report Header rather than on the Page Footer. Report Header is meant for that and it will not appear in subsequent pages.

Actually, after fighting all these issues, I have put it into Report Header.
However, report still does not look the way I wanted originally, as I wanted this staff to be at the bottom of the 1st page but now it is in the header that is on the top of the page.
It seams like Access report formatting has cirtain limitations which are impossible to overcome. Even workarounds not always truly equivalents.:(
