Hello everyone, I would like to ask if it possible for Microsoft Access to retrieve data from a folder?

I would like to retrieve excel spreadsheet into my access database from a folder in the sharepoint

I don't know anything about Sharepoint, so I'll step out here, maybe another member can help you.
I think you should have mention that in the thread title that it was from Sharepoint folder, I thought from a local folder or a folder on a network server.

Is there a difference between retrieving data from a folder on local desktop and a folder on sharepoint? I thought by stating the correct path in the code will make it work? This is just what i think, i am not too sure too.

So have you tried? If you did and it failed then JHB may have a point.
I too don't use sharepoint so can't assist.

Hmm, i do not have the sharepoint set up yet so I cannot try. I am asking to see if it is possible for me to do that, else I will just import the excel sheet into access.
