Question RUNTIME, changed colors and lost photos in my db

I had created a db for my mothers Dollhouse collection. She does not have the Full Version Access 2010, so I did all the steps to use the RUNTIME. Everything looked like it worked. I loaded it up on her computer and it all came in. The problem that I not sure why, is I lost any color that I had for the forms, I had some pictures and those did not come through. I made everything like a grey color. Am I doing something wrong. I thought that everything works the same in RUNTIME but only certain things didn't work. So I am kind of lost here. Any ideas would be a great help.

You could achieve exactly this effect if you wrote your Db in Access 2007, and used the Access 2010 runtime. Is that what happened?
