I am creating a database of graphics. It will be used by folks who are not that familiar with Access.

What I have is a Graphic field titled "Graphic" (imagine that!). I would like to put a text field in the form that reads the directory of the graphic and simply displays it so folks know where to access the graphic file.

I considered a hypertext link BUT people are going to have to do the data entry in the form and would resist having to put the directory in twice (once to import the graphic and a second time to put in a link).

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Mslieder

You should consider using the JPG Administrator Wizard. It stores Grafik files inside of Access without bloating and uses the explorer to manipulate the files.

Where might I find the JPG Administrator Wizard? Will it handle other file types besides JPGs? Please also note that the graphics I'm showing in this database are merely linked - not imported.

Thanks,
mslieder
