subform relationship (1 Viewer)

I can't remember how to do this. I know it is simple but I just can't remember. I have a form, frmCarers and I want something at the bottom that shows a list of the children currently in their care. I know how to get all the children on there but I just can't remember how to make it so only the children the carer is looking after appear.

I have a few attempts on my form but neither of them work.

You add the CarersId to your main form.
Set its visible property to no so it is hidden.
On the subform if child, set the master/chield link field to CarersId both.
