I'm trying to create a subform which enables the user to put together a workplan. They use a synchronized combo box to select the Departments required for a project which requeries the second combo box so they can select staff from the Departments selected. There are many departments and many staff from each department required for each project. The problem I'm having is well known, when the 1st combo box requeries, the second one blanks out. Is there any way round this? I had wondered if I could have the combo boxes on my main form with the data entered showing in the subform below but I'm not sure how to go about this. I did read somewhere that this problem had been resolved in Access 2000 but that's what I'm using and it's still doing it. Any ideas?
