Text box scroll bars not appearing in Access 2003 (1 Viewer)

I've got an Access 2000 format front end that I am maintaining using Access 2007 - this generally works OK, except for having to mess about with VBA references when rolling out a new version, depending on the client Access version.

However, there are a number of text boxes on one form that are bound to memo fields - they should have vertical scrollbars - and they do, if I open in Access 2007 - but in Access 2003 (on one client machine), they simply do not appear, even when the control gets the focus.

The scroll bar property is set to 'vertical' for these fields.

Any suggestions?

You may have already covered this, but I would check the Access Version on the rogue machine to be sure that all patches have been applied.

I seem to recall some kind of issue with 2003 when first released. There was a patch that fixed the problem.

Thanks - yeah, I think it's got to be something like that - I'll look into it.

Best solution would be if I could get Access 2007 on it (we have the licensing, but there is another third party access db on the machine that won't work in Access 2007)
