Textbox and selecting issue

Hi. THis may just be how access operates but thought i would check. I have a form with textboxes. When i enter a textbox and look to add some words to middle of text box so click in middle of text box it selects all the text to the right of my selection. How do i stop this happening. I want to be able to press the arrow key left and right witin the text box and not have it highlight the text.

Any thoughts appreciated.
 
You may find what you want by going to Options->Client Settings ?
 
Sadly that didnt solve issue.

Same thing happens in tables as well. For example i type "Mantana" and realise it is spelt wrong and should be Montana. SO i press back arrow and i seem to select everyting. For example i get to end of word and press left arrow key 4 times and get somethingliek this Montana. Red bit iullustrating what is highlighted. Driving me nuts

I don't think this is usual in Access but have experienced something similar in the past.
How long has this been happening.
Have you tried restarting your computer.
