This site is getting dog slow...

searching isn't working for me....or posting by the looks of it :-(

It happens occasionally and probably when something is being done to the servers whereever this is hosted. Just be patient people. It does clear up after a little while.

My best guess is net stuff in general takes a hit as the east coast comes on line at work in the am. It always slows in the east coast am time frame - ???

Damn Americans :D

It slows around MidDay here I assumed that it was some server maintenance taking place before the Americans came on stream , perhaps they don't realise how early you guys start work.

yea but post quality goes through the roof!!!!:D:D:p

Unless there's a scooter ride scheduled from essex and/or someone's heater goes on the blink, then there seems to be a pretty high quality maintained all day :p:p

Hey i am the thousandth(?) viewer! Top!

Around three in the afternoon America wakes up and things are getting slow. The speed is adjusted to match the Americans...:D

I agree - very irritating as that's my lunch hour when I can really browse the forums. But it has been getting much slower in the last 2 weeks at all times. Not just the forum pages but the other pages as well.

are the kids on holiday somewhere - (increase in traffic ??)

Good morning

The site is somewhat slower than it used to be .... but not a real problem as far as I'm concerned.

Seems someone should contact Jon about the performance of this site (again)... I for one am losing patience...
