Unfiltered Report Footer Totals on Filtered Report? (1 Viewer)

I've done this once entirely by accident and can't seem to duplicate it...

I have a report. It has the following:
Report Header: Logo and title
Department Header
Supervisor Header
Group Header
Detail
Department Footer: Totals
Report Footer: Overall Totals for all departments

Here's my question.
I have combo boxes on my main form that filter this report.
The combo boxes are referred to by the query that runs the report.
How do I get proper unfiltered overall totals in my report footer?

Your report is based on a query that is filtered by combo box but for the footer you want unfiltered totals?

I believe you would need to add the unfiltered table (or query) as a sub report in the footer and do your calculations in it. Or you could make a query that grabs all the unfiltered results you need and does the calculations and add that as a sub report.

Thanks SmallTomato... That's not what I was hoping to hear, but exactly what I expected to hear. :)

I wonder how I managed to do it before... :S haha

I wonder if I could work my filter criteria into the text boxes of the report itself...
