Hello

So, my database is for QA monitoring data. I have created a query that populates the agents average scores and the numbers of calls QA'd.

Two of the fields in my query (Total Applicable Criteria & Criteria Sum) are set to the Total 'AVG' to obtain their average of these fields (obviously..). When I run the query, Access prompts me to enter the AvgOfCriteria Sum & AvgOfTotal Applicable Criteria.

I dont understand... There is clearly data in the table! Your assistance would be gratefully received. :banghead:

When you are unexpectedly prompted for a parameter you normally have field naming error, check all spellings etc carefully.

Posting your SQL usually helps us give advice

The spellings are correct in relation to the field names as far as I can see.

Code:
SELECT [Possible CMYR].Agent, Count([Possible CMYR].ID) AS CountOfID, Avg([Possible CMYR].[Criteria Sum]) AS [AvgOfCriteria Sum], Avg([Possible CMYR].[Total applicable criteria]) AS [AvgOfTotal applicable criteria], FormatPercent([AvgOfCriteria Sum]/[AvgOfTotal applicable criteria]) AS [Avg Score]
FROM [Possible CMYR]
GROUP BY [Possible CMYR].Agent, FormatPercent([AvgOfCriteria Sum]/[AvgOfTotal applicable criteria]);

That's because you use in Group By an alias created in the same sql statement.

I knew it'd be something like that that I'd missed! Changed to Expression and now works perfectly, thank you!
