Hello all,
i have created an access form that i wish to send to somebody that does not have access. So i have created a package solution which installs the access enableing them to view it. however i will be updating the access form and sending them the install package monthly. instead of uninstalling and re installing each time, i believe there is a way of making an upgrade instillation. can someone please advise.

Once you have installed the runtime version on a machine the soft ware is installed that allows the users to run an Access aaplication without physically having Access on their machine. If you have designed you application correctly and have it split between front end and back end (Date/Objects). Then it is just a simple case of sending them the revised front end which they can copy into the client location. The full runtime installation is not required.

sorry, i do entirely understand you. i went to developer, then package and i selected the one that requires the access runtime so as they will not require microsoft access to be installed in order to run it

When you say you are sending them an update every month, what are you actually sending them?

New/revised forms/queries/etc

Or Data held in tables?
