I'm working with a front-end (.mde) and back-end (.mdb) Access 2000 database (group-level security using individual logons and passwords), and have some users complaining that they're certain they've entered records, but when they close and return to the database, the records do not exist. I haven't been able to duplicate this in testing on my end.
Each user has their own .mde file on their local computers that's linked to the back-end which is stored on a network. None of the users said they saw the "Disk or Network Error" message box, so I don't think a network crash wouldn't explain the problem (correct me if I'm wrong).
Under the Advanced tab in options, I ensured the Default open mode is shared, default record locking is set to Edited record, and the Open databases using record-level locking is enabled.
Any ideas/suggestions as to what this could be/how to solve the problem?
