Now, is it my imagination or did the US just get criticized for NOT jumping into a military conflict, thereby injecting their point of view into another country halfway around the globe instead of "minding our own business" ?

The difference between then and now is that
A/ we were holding your hand
B/ there was merit in fighting during that conflict

Colin didn't say anything about who started it, he just said anyone who kills is a terrorist.

I'm confused here - did I mention WW2? and who started it?

I thought I only compared Bush and a terrorist and couldn't see much difference

Did I use 'write' incorrectly?

write ( P ) Pronunciation Key (rt)
v. wrote, (rt) writ·ten, (rtn) also writ (rt) writ·ing, writes
v. tr.

-To express in writing; set down: write one's thoughts.

Edit: As much as you post, you may want to invest in the rechargable type batteries...:):):)

Exactly. My response pointed out that your comparisson was so broad it applies not only to Bush but basically anyone who has ever been involved in a military conflict, such as the British soldiers during WWII. Rich seems to think whether one is a terrorist or not depends on "who started it" for some reason.

News flash, Rich: Every terrorist in the world thinks someone else started it. Obviously, Hitler started WWII but if you asked him he'd claim the Jews did.

You decide who is right and who is wrong. Why Rich, that's positively dictatorial of you (We never saw that coming:eek: )...are you sure your last name isn't Bush?

I, for one, would be pleasantly surprised at the irony if it's been the man himself using a pseudonym, all along.

Has anyone done a study on terrorism? Over the years, what this there ratio number of kills? How many kids, mothers, innocents?

And how do the "make love, not war" people deal with terrorists.

Oh yea make love

Since there's no common consensus on what constitutes a terrorist, it would be a bit hard to start counting victims, wouldn't it?

Would it be safe to say that everyone dies as a result of somebody's definition of terrorist?
