Welcome to Wall Street Casino. The smart people make money in the Stock market. What about the ordinary folks like you and me. I am sure 401K investors are worried now. What do you all see?

From what I have seen (but I do feel brave enough to invest), it takes a lot of research and some common sense to make money in the stock market.

The "pros" are in the stock market for the long haul and know when to buy and when to sell.
The time to sell is not at the peak, but just before the peak when there are still plenty of buyers.
The time to buy is when the stocks are low and everyone is panicing.
A successful investor bought shares in the ABC Corporation when they were $10 each. They sold when they were at $30 each two weeks before the crash. They banked this money. Now that shares in the ABC Corp. are at $10 again, they are buying again.

A lot of these people also tend to invest in many companies that are worthless now. They will probably lose on all of them but just wait until that one strikes gold....then its cash money
