starting to piss me off, cant post in alot of forums, i get

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/access/public_html/forums/includes/functions_search.php on line 197

Same exact error when trying to "search".
Same for me at my work site. But, not at home.
I have gotten into work early and not had this problem. Then as people show up I get this exact error. At lunch time, I can search and post again, after lunch... and so on.
It is probably a latency network issue.
I have been to 5 other Access web sites. They are slow (my network again) but they don't error. Just this site.

Hope that helps!

I seem to recall this happening a bit when the site's host was moved over last week...

Today I find that when I respond to posts my browser (firefox) cycles like the post didn't add, but if you hit the back button, and refresh the post makes it up.

It is perhaps some growing pains. I'm sure the admins are on it...

This is a known issue with Firefox. The fix seems to be to run Adblock Plus on Firefox.

Hmmm... I actually already use AdBlockPlus, and have it enabled... I am disabling for this site for this post to see if the ad's are trying to load first, before the balance of the page is presented to render...

Testing... 1...2...3...

EDIT: Bam! And the post went right up... maybe disabling adblock for the site helped?

As a matter of fact, this did start to happen after the announced update.

retest to see if I am crazy...

EDIT: Nope, not crazy :) It was enabled, and it churns but doesn't recall the page... Firefox v3.6.2, adblock plus v1.1.3

Interesting: I have some previous searches that come down when I type in and they work now.
But: I try a new search and it appears to fail
You try to search on parent child form update
I get an error.
but on previous DoCMD vba pass parameter
no problem, it works as normal
I am going to try a few more

Exact specs and only works when enabled.. bummer!!

Search on Form Load Order - failed
Search on listbox index tab - worked

Neither of these showed up as something I had searched befor

I have tried a half dozen searches. Every time the word "FORM" was used, it failed. Replace FORM wiht listbox, or some other word, and it workes.
I was recently updating some tabbed forms between the parent/child and also trying to fix some update events between the two. Practically every question had the word Form in it.
Would you try that?

IM NOT CRAZY!

Imagine that! Interesting how once tends to associate other things with an error

My emphasis this week was Forms, and I kept getting this error.
Our company network was so slow today....
How slow was it?
I relinked 40 tables to a different test database,
- went upstairs to the starbucks coffee machine
- came back and watched for four more minutes as the progress bar on the bottom finished
Just assumed it was the network and web.

It might have driven a sane person crazy, but in my case... no harm done.
