Based on the messages you spew, that is actually unclear. Don't you get it? YOUR rhetoric is unclear enough that you SOUND like a dolt. Not saying you are, but I think the Yale Law of Communication is in effect: I know you believe you understand what you think you heard, but I'm not sure whether you realize that what you think you heard isn't what I meant. No, they are punishing universities for allowing Jews to be harassed on campus. Free speech is free speech but the universities allow Jews to be harassed and call it free speech but they ban conservative speakers because some students find their opinions hurtful. Are you suggesting the any use of Federal money gives the Federal government authority to cut off funding as punishment without due process or any relationship to the purpose of the funds. What happened to your "small government" conservative values? I haven't read the language of these grants, but I suspect there are some guard rails in place.

The Trump administration has been ignoring the guard rails. The universities have been winning in courts, but the litigation is expensive, much of the harm is irreversible and their abuse of government discretionary authority.

The Federal government gives colleges tons of money. In exchange, one of the conditions is that they allow ROTC and military recruiters on campus. This condition is ignored by too many of the "important" schools and for this reason alone, their financing should be pulled. Aside from that, the colleges should abide by US laws and they do not. They suppress free speech and they discriminate in their enrollment process and they are hard core antisemitic and allow Jews to be harassed on campus while protecting the free speech and rights of every other minority group.

It is time for this to stop. The only power the feds have is the power of the purse.

By not acknowledging the antisemitism and by not taking swift action to protect students the university doesn't deserve grant money. Giving them grant money gives the university legitimacy while ignoring the abuse.

I don't think that you understand what free speech is. Censorship is when the government punishes speech. Google, FB and X are private publishers and they are free to say (and not say) what they want. If you don't like their services, don't use them.

Under current laws, internet platforms are not responsible for the speech of others using their platform. The users can be sued for defamation.

Yesterday’s announcement by the DOJ was not only disappointing, it completely undermined the MAGA movement. I don’t see how MAGA moves forward from this point. Personally, I haven’t given up on traditional conservative values, but it feels like the MAGA movement is dead.

I cannot believe anyone would be so stupid as to leave any evidence behind in the first place or risk there being any evidence that could out them later. It just seems like a very dumb thing for smart people to do. That said, clearly there were clients who were involved with the children who were violated in the video's that are in the records that the courts have sealed. None of us wants to see those video's, we just want someone to identify who perpetrators are. How dare the courts seal that information from all of us. It's seems like the court is saying, we would love to tell you who the perpetrators are, but it would put the children at risk.

I think the court is to blame for all of this and Bondi, Kash, and Dan's hands are simply tied. Couldn't the children go after their perpetrators legally? Someone must have scared them into not to doing anything about it. If you stay silent, we'll let you live.

As far as the infamous client list or other incriminating evidence outside of what was sealed in court, it was long gone before the A-team got there.

Personally, I tend to agree with this. The idea (mostly from movies and TV) that criminals create detailed "client lists" and financial records explaining their misdeeds is frankly, ridiculous. From the lowest level drug buyer (who doesn't keep a diary "bought drugs from John Anderson on Jan 1st"), to the highest level organized crime bosses, I seriously doubt most of them keep detailed records of their crimes.
