Trump Administration Predictions (3 Viewers)

I always doubted there was any client list, the very idea is ridiculous
Gisile thought there was a client list. Her lawyers prevented it from being placed in evidence during her trial.

There are however passenger manifests so it is possible to see who travelled on the Lolita Express and with whom. They can leave off the names of the minors who were being trafficked.

Personally, I tend to agree with this. The idea (mostly from movies and TV) that criminals create detailed "client lists" and financial records explaining their misdeeds is frankly, ridiculous. From the lowest level drug buyer (who doesn't keep a diary "bought drugs from John Anderson on Jan 1st"), to the highest level organized crime bosses, I seriously doubt most of them keep detailed records of their crimes.

Honeypot operations are different from what you're describing. For example, a foreign government may need leverage over a specific individual. They identify the person's vices often something illegal or difficult to obtain. These services are then provided in a way that the target doesn't realize they are being recorded. Later, the individual is blackmailed into doing something they normally wouldn’t do.

Lots of rumors about Epstein working for the CIA or FBI which fuels the conspiracy theories.

I see what you mean

Yesterday’s announcement by the DOJ was not only disappointing, it completely undermined the MAGA movement. I don’t see how MAGA moves forward from this point. Personally, I haven’t given up on traditional conservative values, but it feels like the MAGA movement is dead.
Apparently they are not all in agreement

Bongeno and Kash can resign but it won't matter. Their credibility has been shredded along with Bondi. The die has been cast, there's no turning back.

The Federal government gives colleges tons of money. In exchange, one of the conditions is that they allow ROTC and military recruiters on campus. This condition is ignored by too many of the "important" schools and for this reason alone, their financing should be pulled.
You mean like vital Scientific Research? Yeah, you're probably right, China, Japan, and Korea, are doing enough for all of us. We got video games to play, Which used to be ok.

You know, since the Mexicans do all the work.

You mean like vital Scientific Research?

Having been in that environment, I'm going to toss it out for consideration that most of the "vital scientific research" tends to be just another grad student trying to finish a project of sufficient worth to convince his/her committee that the research was done to proper standards and with some attention to accuracy.

I'll be honest. My dissertation research would be difficult to justify is "vital." At our level, we were dealing with an inorganic compound in a strong, aqueous medium that is somewhat useful for performing chemical assays of phosphate in potable water. Useful? Oh, yes, absolutely. Clean water is important for many indigenous people around the world. Did we expand the amount of scientific knowledge? Based on the feedback we got, I'd say so... but only by a little bit. Was there anything innovative? My major professor thought it was a good, new approach. Likely to earn me any kind of prize? Not a chance in Hell.

The research that gets funded for which ROTC is a required concession usually isn't vital. It is more likely USEFUL. The vital stuff is done at very specific places like Johns Hopkins or the Lawrence Livermore Labs or M.I.T. or places of that level of prestige. Most smaller colleges are lucky to have a research program at all.

The amalgamation of the useful, is the vital.

Thanks for your contribution.

I spent my whole life designing houses, writing software and making small contributions to the evolution of industrial robotics, I may die poor, but I contributed to the body of knowledge for the country, and the human race.

When I was at TSA I even helped the United States war on terrorism, my contribution was maybe equivalent to a single ". " in a large book, but if you add it to the rest of the book, it had some value.

The marriage between government, industry , and labor, was one of the hallmarks of the extremely successful growth of American wealth and influence around the world. In the 21st century China is the country doing that, and we are all distracted by the minutia.

Minutia that divides us.

GOOD.

The idea that they were just rounding up crowds of people based on skin color, accent, and work type - and then actually DEFENDING doing so(!) - is atrocious. I hope the government gets sued for those who they have wrongfully detained and pays out the nose.

That means they could have easily caught my wife in a sweep and detained her for weeks before being able to get straightened out, or someone like her without a someone like me detained indefinitely.

This immigration fury has one purpose. The creation of a fascist state.
Now the idiot at 1600 Pennsylvania wants to remove nationalized citizenship from them. I wonder what it will take for many of his worshipers to see just how evil he really is.

I wouldn't put all my eggs in the Chinese basket.
Wrong context. My eggs are in the North American Continent. We should be building that alliance instead of trying to destroy it. Surely, you can see that.

Does your wife have a birth certificate? How about a passport? You are scaring yourself (and her) for no reason. Unless she's picking weed or hanging out on corners looking for day work or working for known employers of illegal aliens she isn't going to be harassed just out shopping.

Every person in the country illegally needs to repatriate themselves, preferably voluntarily. They are all criminals. I don't care how nice they are or how long they've been here.

Once we've gotten rid of the 20 million Biden invited in to drain our welfare system, we can talk about legalizing but NOT EVER making citizens of, people who've been here for more than 10 years who have no criminal record. At this point, we're only 100,000 in to the backlog. The easy pickings are gone and now ICE is going to places where illegals congregate.

ICE also needs to start arresting mayors and governors who are ordering their people to not cooperate with ICE. Harboring criminals is also a crime. So arrest the employers and and apartment building owners who harbor the criminals.

You can thank the Democrats for instigating this reaction. This is a natural response to unhinged leftwing border policies. You act like all of this is happening in a vacuum. The Democrats created an immigration app and invited the world to use it, what did you think would happen?

I believe they still can if you don't live in the Central District of California (per the supreme courts order it's not a national RO.) Homan still says they can go on looks.

I've read reporters stories of going to the place in downtown LA to try to visit people - to whom employers, spouses etc. were bringing their birth certificates. Long lines, inhumane conditions, and often leaving without getting to see the person they came to see - it's an absolute nightmare and often results in prolonged detentions whether the person is a US citizen or not. Even if it didn't, can you imagine your spouse being arrested and detained AT ALL - the trauma it would bring would be substantial. If I were lucky enough to get in to the authorities to give them a copy of the passport, sure, then it's finally over - but at what cost? And what if the authorities say she's not here, or we can't find her, or that's not good enough - the possibilities are endless - obviously, as a US citizen, you should never be detained at all.

And it's not just picking weed or hanging out on day corners. It's groups of people who work at employers known to hire immigrants or cheap labor in general. Rounding up all hispanics - totally unconstitutional, just like it was when Joe Arpaio did it years ago.

Obviously she shouldn't be required to carry her passport with her at all times
