Solved Read Outlook pst file without desktop Outlook installed (1 Viewer)

I have a large Classic Outlook 2010 pst file and I would like to read all the emails and attachments in it, but I don't have Outlook 2010 installed. Is a reader or vba code available for doing the above?

I have desktop Thunderbird installed and tried using it with the pst file, but was unable to get that working.

In vba, check references to see if the outlook module is installed. If it is, you can use vba to extract the attachments and/or sql to view the emails

Or you might be able to download and install classic outlook

There are also third party apps available for converting pst files to something that Thunderbird can read.

You must download the XstReader.zip from the releases section, not a zip of the source code.
