All illegals should be deported. They aren't special.
Problem is there aren't as many criminal migrants as what you were told, so they gotta hit their quotas somehow. We wanted criminals deported mostly
I knew that, The parts of town around here that have the most illegal immigrants are the most peacefulProblem is there aren't as many criminal migrants as what you were told, so they gotta hit their quotas somehow.
Why not deport everyone who commits a serious crime instead....Wouldn't you be getting rid of far less desirables? All illegals should be deported. They aren't special.
I'm glad this is Trump's last term, he's notched some wins but his bad points are truly disgusting.
Because you can't deport citizens. Why not deport everyone who commits a serious crime instead....Wouldn't you be getting rid of far less desirables?
You can't deport citizens unless you have cause to revoke their citizenship first. But you are against that. Let's not be inconsistent like the Dems. Why not deport everyone who commits a serious crime instead....Wouldn't you be getting rid of far less desirables?
Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris? And yet we had the disgusting scenarios involving Papa Joe and his mental acuity. Not to mention the DNC's absolutely ludicrous anointment of Kamala as candidate without a vote. Then the judges using warfare to attempt to stop or slow down Trump in his attempt to reduce the size of government. And they use illegal nation-wide injunctions to do it. Do you wonder why a lot of us think that Trump ain't so bad?
No, but they have no one to blame but themselves.Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris?
GS layoffs and buyouts - good or bad (economically speaking) it did reduce the number of employees - if that is what you meant by size. What effort has Trump made to reduce the size of government?
AgreedWhat I see is a government trying to intrude to even more aspects of American life?
Abso-tively, Posi-lutley...In any event, the authority lies with Congress to change laws not the President.
Biden was the nominee. You can't change "horses". As the party that claims to be for democracy, swapping Biden for Harris was hypocritical.Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris?
You must be kidding. It is the Democrats who continually increase intrusion into every aspect of American life. Who are the ones imposing regulations for our supposed "benefit". With every regulation the Republicans remove, freeing citizens from government imposed mandates, Democrats hysterically scream that people will die. What I see is a government trying to intrude to even more aspects of American life?
Apparently you do not see that Congress in many cases has given the President the ability (discretion) to tweak the law as the President sees fit because Congress is too lazy in writing the laws.In any event, the authority lies with Congress to change laws not the President.
Sad but truePresident sees fit because Congress is too lazy in writing the laws.
Isn't that what primaries are for? The people choose the candidate not the party. Of course, if the deadline for getting on the ballot had passed, that's a different problem. But as I recall, the DNC wouldn't allow RFK Jr to run as a candidate. I guess they thought he might be able to beat Joe. Trump ran as a Republican despite being a lifelong Democrat because it was Hillary's "turn" to be the candidate and he didn't want to wait 4 years or potentially 8 years. Apparently the Democrats don't know it but the DNC stacks the deck so that their preferred candidate "wins" the nomination.Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris?
The House can't even do its primary job according to the Constitution which is to pass a budget. It has literally been decades since the House made an actual budget.because Congress is too lazy in writing the laws.
They knew Biden was incompetent but they supported him anyway. The dnc had a choice but they screwed up.Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris?

Just as an editorial aside, I recall the days when the budget was released. The Washington Post used to have a big spread analyzing the propose budget. I believe that under Bush, the budget process (more or less) "died" to be replaced by continuing resolutions instead of real budgets. Obama put the final nails into "killing" the budget process. What made this repugnant is that Obama, as a publicity stunt, established the "National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform" (Simpson–Bowles Commission). When the Commission issued its recommendations, Obama essentially gave it the finger. This degenerated the Commission into simply being a "fake" effort for political show that was never meant to be implemented. I have felt very sorry for Simpson and Bowles doing all that work, only to have that hard worked tossed into the garbage bin. As a consequence, the budgetary process has not been restored and US continues to deficit spend,The House can't even do its primary job according to the Constitution which is to pass a budget. It has literally been decades since the House made an actual budget.
The voters chose Joe Biden. The Democratic establishment should have persuaded Biden not to run in the first place as he promised but the voters can't escape responsibility. I voted for Dean Phillips. They knew Biden was incompetent but they supported him anyway. The dnc had a choice but they screwed up.
