Trump Administration Predictions (9 Viewers)

Problem is there aren't as many criminal migrants as what you were told, so they gotta hit their quotas somehow.
I knew that, The parts of town around here that have the most illegal immigrants are the most peaceful

I'm glad this is Trump's last term, he's notched some wins but his bad points are truly disgusting.

And yet we had the disgusting scenarios involving Papa Joe and his mental acuity. Not to mention the DNC's absolutely ludicrous anointment of Kamala as candidate without a vote. Then the judges using warfare to attempt to stop or slow down Trump in his attempt to reduce the size of government. And they use illegal nation-wide injunctions to do it. Do you wonder why a lot of us think that Trump ain't so bad?

Why not deport everyone who commits a serious crime instead....Wouldn't you be getting rid of far less desirables?
You can't deport citizens unless you have cause to revoke their citizenship first. But you are against that. Let's not be inconsistent like the Dems.

The only reason for Hispanics to turn against Trump is if they believe the lies of the lame stream media. The public is very much in favor of deporting all people in the country illegally. Criminals should be easier to find BUT ICE has to contend with "sanctuary cities/states". Those are the people you should be upset with, NOT Trump. You are upset with Israel for retaliating against Hamas and you are upset with Trump for trying to solve the problem Biden created deliberately with his open border policy. It is best to be mad at the right people.

If ICE is collecting thousands of illegals every month, see if you can find a statistic that tells you exactly how many of those are released because they are actually citizens. Also, see if any article will tell you where the citizen was when he was caught in a round-up. These anti-Trump articles are always very short on details and rely entirely on anecdotes. The articles are DESIGNED to make you "feel" bad for the poor person caught up in this mess. Just as you "feel" bad for the Palestinians even though they are in a hellhole of their own making and you have no sympathy for the Jews who are being targeted by Hamas. It takes conscientious discrimination when reading any "news" article these days. YOU need to identify the missing/misleading information and find the facts for yourself because the opinion writers who call themselves reporters are never going to tell you any fact that might contradict their conclusion. WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN. And if you are capable of thinking for yourself, you shouldn't care what the opinion of the reporter is AND you should recognize that if you know the opinion of the author, you are not reading news, you are reading an op ed. We don't get our news from op ed's.

Did the DNC have any real choice when Biden pulled out but to choose Harris?

What effort has Trump made to reduce the size of government? What I see is a government trying to intrude to even more aspects of American life? In any event, the authority lies with Congress to change laws not the President.

No, but they have no one to blame but themselves.

GS layoffs and buyouts - good or bad (economically speaking) it did reduce the number of employees - if that is what you meant by size.

Agreed

Abso-tively, Posi-lutley...

Biden was the nominee. You can't change "horses". As the party that claims to be for democracy, swapping Biden for Harris was hypocritical.

You must be kidding. It is the Democrats who continually increase intrusion into every aspect of American life. Who are the ones imposing regulations for our supposed "benefit". With every regulation the Republicans remove, freeing citizens from government imposed mandates, Democrats hysterically scream that people will die.
In any event, the authority lies with Congress to change laws not the President.
Apparently you do not see that Congress in many cases has given the President the ability (discretion) to tweak the law as the President sees fit because Congress is too lazy in writing the laws.

Isn't that what primaries are for? The people choose the candidate not the party. Of course, if the deadline for getting on the ballot had passed, that's a different problem. But as I recall, the DNC wouldn't allow RFK Jr to run as a candidate. I guess they thought he might be able to beat Joe. Trump ran as a Republican despite being a lifelong Democrat because it was Hillary's "turn" to be the candidate and he didn't want to wait 4 years or potentially 8 years. Apparently the Democrats don't know it but the DNC stacks the deck so that their preferred candidate "wins" the nomination.

They knew Biden was incompetent but they supported him anyway. The dnc had a choice but they screwed up.

The House can't even do its primary job according to the Constitution which is to pass a budget. It has literally been decades since the House made an actual budget.
Just as an editorial aside, I recall the days when the budget was released. The Washington Post used to have a big spread analyzing the propose budget. I believe that under Bush, the budget process (more or less) "died" to be replaced by continuing resolutions instead of real budgets. Obama put the final nails into "killing" the budget process. What made this repugnant is that Obama, as a publicity stunt, established the "National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform" (Simpson–Bowles Commission). When the Commission issued its recommendations, Obama essentially gave it the finger. This degenerated the Commission into simply being a "fake" effort for political show that was never meant to be implemented. I have felt very sorry for Simpson and Bowles doing all that work, only to have that hard worked tossed into the garbage bin. As a consequence, the budgetary process has not been restored and US continues to deficit spend,

It's interesting how predictable the left's reaction to Trump is.
Let’s super-size what knocked us out of power. More liberalism, more Marxism, more Socialism.
Yeah, that’ll work this time!

It’s like the blue hair dye has finally reached the brain stem.

If they ever get around to bringing back budgets, they should be zero -based. That means EVERY item needs to be justified. None of this increasing by 10% or whatever. If you had a line item to replace the carpet in your office last year, color it GONE. Add a different capital item if that makes sense.

The voters chose Joe Biden. The Democratic establishment should have persuaded Biden not to run in the first place as he promised but the voters can't escape responsibility. I voted for Dean Phillips.
