Obama Thread

Ecept George Bush:rolleyes:

When did I ever say I paid attention to George Bush? I don't personally think much of him as a President, but he's a hell of a lot better than the alternatives were.

I fail to see where that says I pay attention to him.

I'll state again:

I don't personally think much of him as a President, but he's a hell of a lot better than the alternatives were.

The BBC is totally independent from any outside influence which is why some of the best drama and current affairs programmes are on the BBC.

Somthing I never thought I'd call you.....Naive

The BBC and Australia's ABC are just as biased and just as full or errors as Fox News. It is just the bias and errors come from a different angle.

But a proportion of its news or other shows/articles rely on Australian and American sources.

No, they are researched before airing to remove the political slants, we're given the truth, not the Bush, Howard and Bliar spins:mad:

And if they are reporting on the space program then where do they go apart from NASA.

The Russian Space Agency.............................................

So that is why the reporting is so inaccurate. I often wondered why it was so poor in the accuracy department.

How would you know?

A life long interest in the space program.

If you want to take this seriously, all news outlets fall short in detail and especially in technical areas. However, the general thrust is usually close to mark.

I watch BBC, CNN, FoxNews and also SkyNews. If it is a Space Shuttle launch all 4 source their material from NASA and use the NASA press kit releases.

Oh and by the way, here is the longest running TV prog in the world

You edited while I was posting.

I watch quite a bit of BBC and our ABC as both stations provide programs that don't make the popularity stakes.

What evidence do you have to support this claim?:mad:

Annual budget - 200,000,000 pounds
Income from licence fees - 180,000,000
Difference from - government
Strings attached - plenty

What is your evidence for THAT
