god! I haven't listened to his stuff for years:eek:

You see. If you leave us, who's going to remind you what an old codger you are?

But you haven't freely shared it with anyone.

I'm in the process of leaving the forum so a friends request would be pointless anyway;)

Rich,

I am one that would hate to see you decide to go. While I may not always agree with your take on things, I have certainly adjusted to your style and enjoy reading how you post. I have especially enjoyed your wit (except for when it has been at my expense:) ). You should still have my email address so be sure to stay in touch if you decide to leave and especially to remember your promise of getting me more Mick Taylor music.:D

I have enjoyed getting to know you,
Shane

just kinda busy at the minute:( if I get a spare minute next week hopefully;)
I'm tempted to ask how Kate is the minute, but I already know the answer I do feel so very much for her suffering, kid's courage at times like this are such an inspiration to us.....................

It's ok to ask and I really appreciate you words and concerns. At this minute, I am sitting in her room at the hospital. I haven't been here long. I drive down each weekend so I can see her and my wife and then drive back on Sunday's. It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive, one direction. Kate is recovering well. She has a very busy schedule. P.T., O.T., group therapy and then she started her radiation on Weds. Her spirit remains excellent. She and her Mom both just roll with whatever is in front of them. She still has tumors on the outside of the spinal column and a small one in her left lung. We have hopes that the radiation will do something to the tumors on her spine but the type of tumor that she has does not normally respond to radiation very well. The doctors really haven't told us what to expect after she's done with radiation (in about a month from now) so I guess we will have to cross that bridge when we get to it.

Thanks again for your concerns and feel free to ask anytime,
Shane

Just uploaded it Shane, be sure to check the Email;)
Shame you don't like the Stones, I've got loads of their live stuff with Mick on:cool:

I've crossed swords, or should that be keyboards, with Col and Rich, but I sure notice how flat things can be when they are not around. If we don't argue in the 'cooler then what is the point of it?

My walking buddy and I argue all the time plus I call him a "dozey sod" and he calls me a "moaning old git" at least when we are being polite.:D
I was his best man 38 years ago, and things have never changed.
Some people on this forum ought to lighten up.
Come on Rich hang in there.

Quite agree though you need to remember a definition of friendship I was given by a swedish colleague (and friend)

"A friend is someone you can be rude to"

I think this means that you should be more polite to people who you don't know so well.

That's a good point Rabbie, perhaps I pressed my point a bit far, I certainly would not condone rudeness and name calling on the forum.

I like that one Rabbie. Think I will add it to my collection. Another definition of a friend that I collected and like, is: "A friend is someone who knows everything about you and likes you any way."
