How is it insignificant that in a country that was supposedly founded on the ideal of complete religious freedom, children are forced to recite a statement every single morning that directly contradicts that ideal?
 
Would it be insignificant if vegetarian children were forced to eat meat for school lunch?
 
The judge was correct.
In order to sue someone, you have to serve them with the necessary papers to show they have been informed of the suit. You then must prove they were served. The Senator chose to sue God in a human court so he has to follow the rules.
Dismissing a suit "with predjudice" is judicial shorthand for "stop wasting everyone's time".

God does get the credit for all the good things we have on the planet. Most of the bad things originated with humans messing it up.

Try this: Little johnny, we don't believe in God, but we do believe in Mr Obama, so when you say the plegde in the morning just subsitute the words. ;)

Or how about this:

"I pledge no allegiance to the lapel flag pin of the United States of America, nor to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under Obama, indivisible, With Liberty and welfare checks for all."

She (her party) don't even care for the flag do they? Why the heck are they wondered about what kind of pledge is said?

Which probably means the judge did not have jurisdiction over defendant. The plaintiff will have to try a MUCH higher court.

Since we are told that we can't possibly understand God's reasons for doing things, it would be rather hard to prove he was 'sane', by our standards.

I like the original pledge. If you want to use your version, that is obviously your right, but I don't think it has any merit.
