A Father’s Bragging Rights.

Yes, I was surprised when Monty Python did the sketch that mirrored my childhood;) :D

From what I saw of it, snoring would be more appropriate

Paul saw it on TV - as we all could have, but some of us had nothing more to throw-up.

It won't make sod-all difference anyway, Bush will still railroad his killing policies through by bribery or corruption.

How many US soldiers will be dead by Jan 2008 (or is it 2009) when Bush finishes his term?

Its 3,000 now with 2 years to go.

Guys this is supposed to be a civil thread, grow up and learn how to act appropriately. Some of us need to remember that life is not just about getting across a political view.

Have the US people got the nerve to vote in the Democrats to split up the Republican stronghold and make Bush a lame president?
or are the US people going to follow the Republicans like sheep and therefore give the green light to more bloodshed and worldwide turmoil.

What's the UK term - a wind-up merchant?

What's the American term for in denial, ah yes, American

I'm going to chalk that one under the 'lame' column ok?

Its good you remembered that Josephine. Its beyond me what there is to life anyway.

So its the brattish kids thread. . . . . . . . .

Do kids have it too easy these days? you know, money, playstations, TV in bedroom etc. does it isolate kids to the extent that they don't know how to interact later in life?

I'm talking generally, not "arn't I good - my kids do this that or the other" - there's evidence in the UK that kids become so insular, they fear contact with others and are addicted to PS2 that they need therapy to not play it.

There was a lot of woooo wooo ing going on? Just reminded me of other Evil Empire countries - and their political rallies thats all.

I wish I could post Borat and the American wrestling team as an indication of what I mean.

If you are implying that I was bragging on my daughter… you are correct.

For as long as I can remember a big part of the American dream, was to have your children have a better life than you had. That doesn’t seem to be the case in most instances now-a-days.

So when it looks like she is going to; then it makes me happy for her.
