Access 2003 buttons

I thought i'd seen this before, but I can't find it now.

My Access 2003 command buttons appear flat instead of raised.

Is there a fix for this please, anyone?

Do you mean Windows Themed buttons? Via Tools - Options - Forms/Reports and selecting "Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms".

right-clicking any of the toolbar buttons only offers me toolbar customize options, no default settings at all.

in the control buttons themselves, none of the special effects are having any effect - its hard to see, but although the special effect choices appear, they are all greyed out, and none of them change the appearance.

do you think I should reinstall A2003
