Access 2007 Max Network Users

Hi, Guys

Im just wondering what the maximum number of simultaneous connections to an ACCES 2007 DB over a network,(obviously a mapped drive).

I apologize if this is a double post....

Not sure from a technical perspective but if you get over about 20 then you need to keep an eye on it...

the absolute max is probably something like 256, but the practical limit will depend on performance. The network server has to distribute data on demand. therefore if overloaded it will begin to perform poorly.

so the number of users you can support will depend on whether they are reading/writing etc, and the frequency of those actions.

if it gets too slow, you can upsize to SQL
