Is there any one who speaks or can write an English letter in Italian on board?
I have rather an unusal problem that I need a little help with?:o

Gimme a break Rich, most of us have a hard enough time coping with Inglish, never mind forin langwiges. :D

I can order a coffee or discuss quality problems, albeit limited, in Italian. Would that be of any help ?

If it's about ordering a Guzzi seat in Italy, i have a good friend in Bergamo ( Italian), who is fluent in both languages, so we might ask him to help out ;)

Damn, now I have to admit in public about something I'm deeply ashamed and sorry for:o
I had an accident on the bike a couple of months ago, now the repairers, or even me, cant find the parts needed to repair it in this country, oddly enough the nearest place listed was in the US and obviously the shipping costs would be out of the question, somebody suggested that I might try writing to the factory in Italy, praise the bike up to the hilt etc and keep my fingers crossed:(

You didn't get hurt, did you?

Only my pride:o
and a few minor bruises, sadly my Grandson was on the back and he went over the handlebars too, he was a little shook up at the time but now sees it as part of his "street Cred";)

Is it the age of the bike or the make/model that makes it difficult to find parts for it
The make and model

I would think you could use google to see how to say paternity in Italian :p

A note of caution:

Translator works ok for exceedingly simple sentences but as soon as you interject anything resembling a proposition, verb/noun phrase or anything of that sort, it gives you borked translation.

At least that's what I saw when translating French to English.

At our age Kenneth we'd both consider ourselves lucky if that were to happen:p

Especially after they saw us in the middle of the road with guzzi on top of us - :p

Don't feel bad. I locked up my rear on a corner this afternoon. Didn't come off but almost wet my pants as a result.

Get it fixed up and back on asap. ;)

Therein lies the problem:mad:
Now if I could get past the hatred of flying I could pop over to the US very quickly, visit one or two of you guys on the way and pop back here with the bits;)
