During the 1960 and the 1970, the baby boomers preached peace and love. There were calls for the US to be less imperialistic and less materialistic. So what happened? It seems that all the ideals espoused by the baby boomers have vaporized.

Not only did they vaporize, in the ultimate irony the baby boomers adopted and exacerbated the very things they supposedly were against!
