Backend link problem (1 Viewer)

One of my users keeps getting an error:

Unrecognised database format: "H:\Database\MembershipDatabaseBackEnd.accdb"

Most of the time all works as it should, but when this happens she has to close the front end and re-open.

Is this likely to be a db problem or a network problem?

It could be that the user has an earlier version of Access that doesn't support a feature in your database e.g. Use of Bigint number type. Having said that, if it works on reopening that's not the cause

Hi. When you have a network problem, it could result in a db problem. If you're getting this error, it seems the file is getting corrupted. If you go to the folder where this file is stored, do you see any *.bak files?
