- We should recognize that many "regulations" the left seeks to impose, reduces our standard of living. Examples, besides the fireworks display, would include banning gas stoves, forcing stringent emission controls on pizza overs, and forcing people to move to expensive electrical vehicles by depriving the public of hydrocarbon resources.
- The Covid pandemic crises exposed that the left has two different standards for acceptable activities. During Covide, it was acceptable to break "curfew" restrictions if you were protesting on behalf of the racist Black Lives Matter (BLM). However, rallying in favor of conservative values was considered breaking the law. So would a fireworks display be considered acceptable if it was part of a LGTQ+++++++ celebration?
