I like this point.

Nature does have a way of binding pleasure closely with survivability.

Arguing that animals don't take pleasure in killing is just not true. Does anyone really believe that a pack of hunting dogs are not gaining any pleasure from the hunt? It's a tactic used by nature to encourage living things to perform actions to increase their chances of survival.

That fact alone speaks volumes. One can only imagine the type of person it takes to read through 8 pages of these posts and not reply. Don't kid yourself, I am sure he has read each post and still has not replied. Talk about Self-Control? It will be interesting to see if he NEVER posts, or just waits a little longer first.

I have been reading the posts, and find the number of people who have never posted anywhere but in the Water Cooler Forum to be interesting. I wonder how they found this WONDERFUL Water Cooler Forum from amidst the VAST number of available Forums in the Great Public Internet?

I disagree with your depiction of Ken as a murderer. In order for it to be murder (except in the lexicon of extremists) The victim must be HUMAN. Calling him a KILLER OF NON-HUMAN ANIMALS might be more accurate, since has admitted that he does kill NON-HUMAN ANIMALS.

He's also said that he eats his kill. Using your reasoning, that would make you an accomplice after the fact to murder, or at the very least an accessory to murder, for buying your meat at a market. You may have taken no part in the actual "crime", but you gained from it and even paid for it.

I do agree with you eek that most, if not all, religions breed murderers. Without religion, there'd be no need for war. People kill and die for their beliefs and that's just barbaric.
