Sorry to everyone for not catching that idiot sooner. I wasn't feeling well last night and went to bed early.

Not well myself - at home att the mo - couldn't stop sneezing at work - got a cold - thought i'd try and help out onthe forum -then some muppet came on - kept me entertained for a while ...

Get well soon - a glass of brandy at night always helps - doesn't matter whats wrong with you just a glass will make you feel a lot better ..

And that shows I did it quickly and well

There was a major spammer on the site earlier today. They also tried coming back later, but I had already deleted all of their spam and banned them AND emailed SJ and had him ban the IP address so the user couldn't re-register under a different name.

He had spammed about 25 posts and even sent a profanity laced IM to BrianWarnock, and possibly others.

So, anyway that is what was up.

You know, maybe everyone here should do a favor-

Have the mods & admins give us the spammer's email and we can sign him up for spams & other shady sites. Or even better yet, make a script that will crawl several websites and sign the spammer up.

Give him a good dose of his own medicine, no?

Bob does a ton of behind the scenes stuff of which we are unaware but it keeps the site in really good shape. It is a shame we notice when he decides to catch a few more winks in the morning. The spammers are relentless.
