My reply is not faceious (sp), but sorta(sp) close to the real definitions used. I used to know all the designations, but haven't worked with it for almost four years now.

One of the most important “rights” is the right to be qualified as a legal minority. So you can get special privileges from Uncle Sam. Like becoming an 8A set aside for disadvantaged businesses.

The Federal Government is required by law to give special privileges to minority and other small businesses.
Native Americans actually get additional layers of assistance.
