I have a database I am trying to build out where there is a main page where the user selects various buttons to import files on a monthly basis. In addition to importing files, on the main page I have created a combo box that has a drop down menu where the user is supposed to select the current reporting month. Ideally, I would like to have what month the user selects populate in an existing table. The reason for this is that the table will be keeping a running list of each month's data so I would like to be able to identify what month a particular row(s) came from.
And then if that is possible in Access 2007, to populate a table based on a user selection in a combo box, is it then possible to populate the entire column ("Current Month Reporting Date") with the user selected month?
Any help someone could provide to me would be great!
