Hi All

Has anyone compiled their own help file in access that is then accessible when pressing F1? I am currently in the process of doing this, so far I have created the source file and saved this with an RTF extension. I have gone into the help property and set a HelpFile name and a HelpcontextID.

Now I need to map the values set for the HelpcontextID property to the context strings in my help system but how do I go about doing that? At the moment upon pressing the F1 key I am presented with a blank box ie what you would normally see coming up if you go into Access Help but with no information. What do I need to do next so that my file is displayed?

Any help appreciated
Many thanks
Hayley

PS Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

Apologies guess I should have looked a bit harder, thanks for pointing me in the right direction I will have a look.

Knew I could rely on you to come to the rescue with yet another sample Dave;)

Cheers
