Hi, all

as a newbie i have to use MS access templates and modifying them accordingly.
Northwind Desktop Product inventory web template is good for beginners, which i converted to local database and started to work on it.

This template uses Named Data Macro which r in addition to Table before/after update Data Macro which don't work after splitting the database.

while searching the web for any solution, came across this post Data Macro Nightmare! but requires coding skills to overcome such problem.

Any HELP will b greatly appreciated.

Named Data Macro Pic + local desktop template before splitting attached with the post.

Update:- I see that "Data Macros" are not the same as "macros".

So they may not convert.

I don't use Access 2010+ so I can be of no further help.

Data macros are specific to access web db's and not relevant to 'normal' db's. I don't use them myself but I believe they are the approximate equivalent to form before/after update events in VBA however VBA will not be the solution you require.
