I just see the hypocrisy with justifying one person's bad actions with another person's bad actions. It's a Trump worshipper favorite.
No one is justifying anything and you know it. We are merely pointing out that if you think it is perfectly OK for Pelosi to post that the 2016 election was stolen and for Hillary to say it repeatedly for 4 years and for Stacy Abrams to say that she's actually the Governor of Georgia, that maybe, just maybe, it isn't a crime for Trump to say the same thing. Whether you agree that the election was stolen or not, offering your opinion, especially when it is based on actual facts, isn't a crime. In fact, the truth is the best defense to slander. I happen to agree that the election was stolen and so do a lot of people who are not Trump supporters but not all Trump supporters believe this election was stolen. In fact, most of the Republicans in Congress are ecstatic that Trump lost and they don't care a bit if the Democrats had to cheat to do it. They're just happy Trump's gone. Of course they're being very shortsighted since it might be their election that gets stolen next or their Twitter account that gets cancelled. Here we go back to the poem about the Nazi's. When the Nazi's came for... and then they came for me but there was no one left to stand up for me.

I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born “White" into a two-parent household which now labels me as "Privileged", racist and responsible for slavery. I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist because I plan & budget. But I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was "advantaged”.
I am heterosexual, which according to some folks, now makes me a homophobe. I believe the Lord did not give me the heart to judge others. I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel. I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which makes me a threat to the liberals and I get labeled as being part of a militia. I am older now making me a useless person with outdated ideas and values. I think and I reason, and I doubt much of what the "mainstream" media tells me, which makes me a "Right-wing conspiracy nut”.
I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe. I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me a target of socialists and Antifa. I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies which must make me a borderline sociopath.
I believe in a strong defense and protection of America for and by all citizens, now making me a militant. I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand and salute during our National Anthem - so I must be a racist. I kneel only for The Cross, which makes me racist. I think that all lives matter, which labels me as a racist. I think the riots and destruction of property around our country are wrong and are just an excuse to push a political agenda, so I'm labeled a racist.
I support our law enforcement, servicemen and women, which labels me as a racist.
I question how fear is being used to control us during the COVID-19 pandemic and think the crisis is being used for political gain, so I'm labeled careless and non-sympathetic. Yet I know the virus is real.
Liberals have tried to make me feel bad about who I am! Based on everything above, some want me to believe I am a bad person; I'm not, I'm a good person who loves my God, my family and my country.
God bless America!
Feel free to copy-paste !!! I did!

Those stupid shirt shops on Amazon are made by bots that scour the internet for memes to copy for a quick buck. Nobody even monitors them. They've been hit by so many copyright claims. It was hilarious... Reddit actually tested this theory. Some random side made a fake meme that was nonsense and has everyone upvote it. Within days, they located the shirt on Amazon and other copy/paste shirt retailers. You can't even post original art anymore. You'll see it for sale eventually if it spreads enough.

They've has more than enough shirts pulled in the last year with memes or lines chipped from all over the net. Politics has not been an exception.

Don't buy t-shirts online of you want to support the original artists or companies unless you buy it straight from the artist or company.

I'm not pro-Democrat. The density on this forum. You would know of you actually pay attention to what I say.
I can't hear what you are saying because what you are doing is deafening me. If you sound like a Democrat, defend like a Democrat and act like one, then you are one, despite what you claim to be. Nothing more than another Democrat worshipper. I am not the only one to come to that conclusion. You are so far down that rabbit hole that you cannot see your own reflection.

Using your own logic, it doesn't matter what you say you believe that counts, it is what you do. Despite Trump saying protest peacefully, you seem to suggest Trump wanted the violence at Capitol and that he deliberately incited it. I think you are using too many double standards to make your arguments credible.

I just see the hypocrisy with justifying one person's bad actions with another person's bad actions. It's a Trump worshipper favorite.
How is it hypocrisy from Republicans? It is the opposite of hypocrisy. If a Democrat criticises something Trump does, and we point out that they did the same, the Democrat was being hypocritical, not the other way around. You have mixed up the word hypocrisy with some other meaning. If you actually payed attention to what we say, you would know this.

Except you focused on the Tee-shirt not the hypocrisy.

I was just making a lighthearted nonpolitical post to talk about these stupid bots.

I talked about how often terrible shirts pop up constantly and are constantly being removed, for political and nonpolitical reasons. I don't know what you want me to say. You already mentioned it was gone.

Some people just want to constantly fight.

Anyway, I'm off for a while. I've got some personal things too deal with.

I think moke would want me to defend President Trump so I'm going to keep it up because moke thinks it is the right thing to do. I don't care what words come out of his mouth. I KNOW what moke thinks and don't you tell me otherwise.

I think I would rather see you not defend Trump because it's the right thing to do.

Some of the video coming out is just mind blowing.

What do you mean "mind-blowing"!?!?!? The video documents nothing. If this had been a Democratic "invasion", the place would have been looted and torched. From all the bits of videos that I have seen, no real attempt was being made to actually trash the inside of the Capital by those crazed violent Trumpeters. (Sure some damage occurred when the breaking in.)

So how come you don't post these videos, showing "peaceful" BLM activities?
These are serious insurrectionists doing real damage, not the pansies that temporarily occupied the Capital building. Maybe you can provide the Republicans with some consulting services on how to loot, trash, and burn buildings?

I don't actually think it matters what any of us says in here. None of us agree with each others point of view, when on opposing sides of the political isle. We go round and round in circles, convinced of our own positions. For some reason, we cannot seem to bridge that gap. Instead, we play lexicon word games to justify our arguments. Perhaps it is a bit like quantum physics, where an electrons spin and location is only determined the moment you measure it. It can be in multiple positions at the same time, like a probability wave. And Trump is innocent and guilty all at the same time, depending on if the observer is a Republican or a Democrat. Just thoughts for the day...

Would you believe Ted Cruz?
Some of the video coming out is just mind blowing.
Is that a little like describing an event as "wild"?

You're right but hope springs eternal.

I tell you what is censorship: me removing all Democrat voices from this forum because I lean right. Don't worry, I wouldn't do that in a million years. I am not like Twitter!

@Jon, I've been curious about your opinion on repealing section 230 and haven't noticed you weigh in on it.
Where everyone always point to the protections of the big tech sites like twitter and facebook, it also protects you.

A topic missing in this hand-grenade tossing; the damage that vindictive Pelosi has done to US House of Representatives procedures. She has set the "Tyranny of the Majority" as a precedent for impeaching someone. Should Republicans ever regain control of the House and the President just happens to be a Democrat, the Republicans would be perfectly justified in impeaching the President for some obscure alleged indiscretion that just happened to sitting around waiting for its moment of hyperbolic outrage.
