Hello from the US Midwest!
I am joining to seek help about a specific MS Access problem. I have built a few simple MS Access programs over the years for work, and two of them are .adp/.ade (Access Project) programs and need to be changed to use MS Access 2016 which does not support .adp/.ade. So, I will post my question in the SQL Server forum about these .adp/.ade creations--poor darlings.
I work for city government, in a sub-agency, and I'm part of a very small Information Systems unit, so there is not much support regarding MS Access. I am the only one in our group of 3 who works on MS Access programs just on the side, with other duties sprinkled in. Although each of us has the title of "specialist", we are really "generalists" knowing enough about stuff just to be dangerous (to ourselves and to our end-users).
Hobbies: knitting, reading. I used to spend time with friends more but in the last 2.5 years, I've just thrown myself more into work.
Anyway, this is all for now. I'm glad I found this forum. Catch you all later...
