I spent my final working years as a computer consultant supporting small businesses taking whatever they threw at me. It made for an interesting life! The only thing I avoided was writing applications having burnt my fingers on my first and only attempt; the customer kept changing or expanding the requirements so an invoiceable product was never achieved.

Now in my twilight years I need something to "exercise the little grey cells" as Hercule Poirot would say.

I have created a working Excel spreadsheet using VBA that I use to manage my finances and now I am creating an Access App to manage the plethora of correspondence that seems to be necessary to survive as a retiree in this day and age. It also keeps my brain active as a hedge against Alzheimer's.

I have tried another forum but found that they were not particularly forthcoming! Here's hoping I will be more successful with this one.
