Just coming up to my first year of marrage, but we have been together for eleven.

Have to say that this year has been the hardest, I don't know why really but if I could go back I don't think I would have got married. We seemed happy just being together but now it's different and I don't know how but it is.

Been together for 5 years and married for 2 years. Although it has its ups and downs I'd have to say it keeps getting better. There seemed to be more tension during the first year of marriage (not to mention the year leading up to the wedding ), but our relationship seems more relaxed and comfortable now.

Was married 10 yrs. I had two beautiful girls from it; because I can no longer have children. May not have been the best, but having my two beautiful girls let me know, I was married at the right time in my life. Whether I agree with with fate or not. Things happen for a reason.

The wife and I are some 28 years together and we got married 13 years ago.
Two years ago, she had major surgery as to remove a cancer tumor , which nearly killed her. Looking back , I can only say that that period during which she recovered and got thru chemotherapy and all, we realized how much we care for another and do the utmost to increase the (emotional) health of our marriage.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 16 years. The nature of the relationship does not make it conducive for us to be married, but we are working on it. Considering that we now have a baby together, it has made us more committed to working on it. All I can say is, relationships are hard - married or otherwise.

I second that, it's 13 years since my wife's cancer was diagnosed and she was given 3 to 10 years with a probability of 5 to live. We have never been so close and its specially so during her bad times, but the best are when she starts nagging me as I know she's feeling really well
