Dear all

I am having a report, which has a subreport called TTML
the main report gets [Tot] field value from subreport's GTO
field

The Value is in currency format

Now i wish to display some Excel calculations based on [Tot] field value which should be passed during OnFormat Event
Location/Details of Report :
Subreport - in detail section
[Tot] field - in Report Footer section

There are some methods, but they open the excel file + display the excel preview in formatted report print preview .

I want only Preview/Birdeyeview of the results in excel
just like viewing in normal mode of excel from access report

PLEEEASE HELP ME Buddy

Just small VBA Script is Required
Level of VBA : Beginner

You can't get anything from Excel without opening it. You could open it hidden.

However, why not do the calculations in Access?

NOTE: Now my Reference Library is not working
for Excel.Application Vars
User Defined type not defined error

it seems last night when my pc crashed, libs also uninstalled

When is tried to select from Ref. option in tool menu, then it says
"Name Conflict"

now how to do it from scratch ?

uff ! i haf so gud script.
Can you give me some good script of your own
and method of activating DAO lib/? anything lib ref for using Excel Connections in Access

References cannot be modified with script.

I would suggest a Office Repair Install.
