I just downloaded the latest INNO installer from here: http://www.jrsoftware.org/isdl.php
It's remarkably simple to use, provided it works, :O
On WIn 7 I prepared an installation with an Access 2007 app, and this installed perfectly on Win XP. On Win 7 the silly thing comes up with two error 299 messages, then runs the entire installation 3 times by itself , on the last run eventually installing what was asked of it. This is not something I can give to anybody, so...
The installatioon is a test : simply creating a C:\MyApp\MyVersion folder and stuffing a copy of an accdb in it (for testing).
Anybody woth any experience and advice, or a simple working INNO script I could try?
(And trying to install the INNO program itself on XP fails too
)
